After dropping a couple of heavy cast iron pans on this mat, there’s not a single scratch or chip—the food-grade silicone really absorbs the shock. I also love that the puzzle pieces lock together snugly enough to stay put even when rinsing dishes.

I was worried the pieces would slide around, but the food-grade silicone grips the basin so well that even heavy pots don't budge it. My stainless steel sink has zero new scratches after a week of washing cast iron.

The puzzle pieces snap together tightly enough that even a big roasting pan doesn't shift them around. I just wish the edges came pre-curved for deeper farmhouse sinks.
