Brass Mister

It’s easy to overwater your plants, especially delicate culinary herbs. This Modern Sprout Brass Mister is perfect for humidity-loving and water-sensitive plants. The brass mister is especially recommended for seed starting and sprout growth, as it provides just enough moisture. Indoor gardeners: minimize your worry about rotting roots or mold growth!

The ideal complement to Modern Sprout grow kits

Modern Sprout’s self-watering herb kits, such as the brand’s Garden Jar - Lavender, come with organic seeds, a recycled glass quart mason jar, and a coco pith disc to keep moist. Each kit includes a passive hydroponic system outfitted with a polypro wick designed to transport water to the plant roots. This brass mister provides just the right amount of moisture needed for low-maintenance indoor gardening.

Grove Collaborative carries a range of gardening products for aspiring and experienced green thumbs alike.

How do I maintain the metal shine on my Modern Sprout Brass Mister?

Your brass mister is not only functional, but is designed with aesthetics in mind. Set it on a kitchen shelf to show off that shine. Over time, the bright brass will develop a patina, or natural tarnish, via oxidation. While many people appreciate this aged look, you can use basic household cleaning supplies, including toothpaste, to restore brass to its original finish.

Modern Sprout is committed to creating planters and other garden products with sustainable materials.
