How do I use these Full Circle Fresh Air Compostable Waste Bags?

Here’s some of the basics you should know when deciding on whether to use these compostable bags:

• These trash bags are designed to be aerobically composted
• These bags will start to break down once they come in contact with organic materials (like your food waste)
• You’ll need to support the base to avoid any rips or spills
• You should replace your compostable bag every three to five days, depending on room temperature

What happens to compostable bags in landfill?

The tricky thing about compostable waste, especially when it comes to bags, is that you need to be fully committed because if you aren’t these bags could continue to exist in a landfill for a very long time. They need to be exposed to moisture, oxygen, and bacteria in order to break down.
