The cold press texture catches just enough paint without soaking it flat, and I love that it didn't buckle even when I used a wet wash. This pad saves me the hassle of stretching paper.

The 300-pound weight really holds up—I flooded a wash and it stayed flat without any buckling. Feels sturdy and the texture grabs pigment beautifully.

Bought this for a landscape study, and the paper stayed completely flat even with a heavy wash of ultramarine. The 300-pound weight makes it feel substantial, though the pages are a bit hard to tear out neatly.
