The certification screens for more than 6,500 harmful substances, including banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes.

The thread count is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. These numbers are often inflated — most sheets are multi-ply, which means threads are layered and twisted to gain a higher count for marketing purposes, while compromising the sheet’s quality. Our Organic Cotton Crib Sheets are a true 400-thread-count single-ply made of extra-long staple organic cotton, so they are super fine and soft.
