Play World at the Zoo - Sustainably Sourced Wood, 18+ Months

Age range: 18 months and up

Bring the magic of the animal kingdom home with Play World at the Zoo, a beautifully detailed playset designed to nurture creativity, empathy, and early storytelling skills. Young animal lovers can step into the role of zookeeper George, caring for a delightful array of animals—from giraffes and elephants to penguins and koalas—all while building a meaningful connection to the natural world.

With a legacy of 85 years, HABA is known for its meticulous attention to detail and unwavering dedication to creating toys that stand the test of time. Each wooden piece in this set is made in Germany from beech wood that is PEFC certified and comes from sustainably managed forests near the HABA headquarters. The wooden animals and accessories are finished with multiple layers of non-toxic, water-based stains, offering vibrant colors that are safe for little ones who explore with their mouths.

The thoughtfully illustrated carrying case doubles as a zoo backdrop and storage solution, making this set as practical as it is imaginative. With 22 carefully crafted components and a set of expert-designed play suggestions included, this set encourages language development, fine motor skills, and hours of open-ended play while instilling values of kindness and conservation.

Included in the set are zookeeper George, 13 wooden animals (including lion, rhino, polar bear, and more), 8 accessories like trees, fences, and a wheelbarrow, and a durable storage case that transforms into the zoo itself.

Perfect for toddlers 18 months and up, this heirloom-quality set combines classic play with a sustainable purpose, because the best toys grow with your child and leave a gentler footprint on the earth.
