Raffia Fringe Coasters, set of 4

Bring warmth and artisanal charm to your tabletop with our Natural Raffia Round Crochet Coasters. Featuring a delicate fringe and an intricate hand-crocheted design, this set of four adds a stylish, laid-back accent to your drinkware.

These coasters are ethically made and designed in collaboration with artisans from the Bicol Region of the Philippines, verified by the Fair Trade Federation. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted following traditional craftsmanship deeply rooted in Philippine culture and passed down through generations, giving each placemat a distinct, personal touch.

It is made sustainably with 100% Raffia, a natural fiber derived from the leaves of the raffia palm. Native to the Philippines, this versatile material has been utilized for centuries by Filipino artisans, showcasing the nation's rich tradition of craftsmanship and ingenuity. The leaves where the fiber is harvested from, regenerate fast especially during the rainy season, making it a renewable resource, reducing the risk of deforestation and absorbing a significant amount of CO2 throughout its lifecycle.

By purchasing this placemat, you are supporting local artisans in the Philippines, particularly in rural areas, providing them with livelihood and fair wages while honoring their dignity as skilled craftspeople and preserving traditional crafts, techniques and knowledge.

Since each piece is handwoven, please expect slight variation in design, color, shape, and size.
