I was a little skeptical about lightweight cast iron, but this braiser is surprisingly easy to lift and maneuver even when full. The triple-seasoned surface gave me a perfect sear on a pork shoulder, and cleanup was honestly simpler than my old enameled pot.

I love how evenly this braiser heats—no hot spots at all, and the lightweight design makes it much easier to handle than my old cast iron dutch oven. The triple seasoning gave it a beautiful non-stick surface right out of the box.

The lid fits so snugly that I barely need to add liquid for braising, and it's noticeably lighter than my old cast iron pot. Cleanup is a breeze with just a quick wipe.
