Compostable Food Scrap Bags - 4-Gallon

The seal on these bags is surprisingly strong—I've filled them with heavy coffee grounds and wet veggie scraps without any leaks. They break down fast in my compost pile, which is exactly what I needed for my kitchen counter bin.

I was skeptical about switching to compostable bags, but these 4-gallon ones hold up well with wet scraps without tearing. The fact that they break down naturally after use makes me feel better about my kitchen waste.

These are the first compostable bags I've tried that don't feel flimsy when wet, and they tear off the roll cleanly every time. I do wish the 4-gallon size came with a tie at the top, but they fit my counter bin perfectly and I feel better tossing the scraps.
