The aluminum case feels sturdy enough to toss in my bag without worrying about cracked pans, and the 12 colors mix beautifully once rehydrated in the interior wells. I’ve used it for three quick plein air sketches this week, and the paint stays vibrant even after drying.

The pans are nicely packed in the compact case, and the colors are more vibrant than I expected straight out of the tin. I took it on a quick trip and loved having the mixing wells right there.

The aluminum case is surprisingly sturdy for its size, and the pans fit snugly so nothing rattles around in my bag. I love that the interior wells let me rehydrate the paint right in the case, which makes sketching outdoors way less of a hassle.
